I did a fun workshop at the CCAE Conference in Fresno on Using Your Mobile Device to Be More Productive, short name, Apps for Administrators. This QR code will take you to the handout, or try this link for the slides and this one for the handout.
In addition to the apps that I presented (Evernote, Dropbox, GoodReader, ToodleDo, Splashtop and Connect, members of the audience suggested these:
- JotNot for taking a photo of a document and saving it as a PDF
- Juice Defender for saving battery life on your phone, and
- PrimoPDF for filling out PDF forms and saving them with the filled out content included.
Love sharing apps with other educators!

Hi Marian,
This information is great for smartphone users. I love the JotNot and PrimoPDF. I am in the process of downloading PrimoPDF now. Evernote has become my new best friend. No more do I have to worry about losing my papers that I usually type in Word. The immediate sync/save in Evernote is a life saver. Thanks for the info.
